Quidditch Day - December 2024

On Tuesday 3rd December, the whole school enjoyed a quidditch workshop.  It started with an assembly where we were sorted into houses and our captains from Year 6 decided which Hogwarts House we would be representing.

Throughout the day, each class took part in team games, representing their houses in a game of quidditch.  Two teams played against each other, with the aim of the game being to score by throwing the golden ball (quaffle) through the hoops.  It was a little like basketball, but a lot more fun and very quick.  The class loved it and it was a good team game.  We would recommend this game to other schools.  Mrs Draycott was really impressed with the game play and skills and said she would love to use it in future PE lessons. On the whole the class had a brilliant time and we all had fun.
