Money & Budgeting - Year 6

On Tuesday 2^nd July, Year 6 took part in a 'Money and budgeting' workshop provided by Citizens Advise for Maldon and the Dengie.

The children played games, answered questions and thought about how they would manage a budget in the future. They discussed the difference between a 'want' and a 'need' - food and heating  or make up and video games..    It was interesting to hear facts about the national average for pocket money and how children earn this!

Year 6 were very engaged, sensible and asked relevant questions about spending habits.
